It's a Holidays season here in Israel, more specifically - It's Yom Kippur. An extremely holy day. I've always wanted to learn about this strange day, and so I decided to read about the prayers, the habits, and the folklore and heroic stories about Yom Kippur.
There was the touchy story about Jews that insisted on praying during Yom Kippur while the kazaks were burning the entire community down. Another depressing story about Nazi officers taking some Jews to the woods and all the way to the mass murder site, the Jews didn't stop praying the Yom Kipur's prayers. Or the amazing story about Israeli soldiers captured by the Syrians and all the way to the gallows didn't stop praying.
This led me to two conclusions. First, Judaism is awesome. Secondly, I guess there would be many more Jews in the world if they were a bit less into praying and a bit more into running.
